Join a Leading International Corporate Services Provider
Our client is an established international provider of corporate, fiduciary and fund services, supporting a diversified portfolio of international clients and complex cross-border structures.
As part of its continued development, the company is looking to appoint an experienced Chief Compliance Officer to lead the Compliance function in Luxembourg. This is a strategic position for a senior professional who has already held a Chief Compliance Officer or Head of Compliance role and is looking to make a long-term impact within a stable and collaborative environment.
Your Responsibilities
- Act as the Head of the Compliance & AML function, ensuring the firm maintains the highest regulatory standards.
- Serve as the main point of contact for senior management and regulatory authorities on Compliance and AML matters.
- Strengthen and continuously improve the Compliance framework, policies and monitoring programme.
- Take ownership of complex regulatory matters and proactively identify potential risks before they become issues.
- Provide pragmatic, business-oriented advice to internal stakeholders while maintaining a strong risk culture.
- Work closely with the first line of defence, ensuring regulatory expectations are fully understood and embedded into daily operations.
- Coach, supervise and develop both senior and junior Compliance professionals, fostering technical excellence and consistency across the team.
- Contribute to maintaining a robust governance framework while supporting the business in its continued growth.
Your Profile
- You have 10+ years of Compliance & AML experience within Luxembourg's financial services industry.
- You currently hold, or have previously held, a Chief Compliance Officer or Head of Compliance position.
- Strong experience gained within a corporate services provider, fiduciary, PFS, fund administrator or a similar regulated environment.
- Excellent knowledge of Luxembourg AML/CFT regulations and governance requirements.
- Comfortable interacting with senior management, boards and regulatory authorities.
- A natural leader who enjoys mentoring experienced professionals as well as developing junior colleagues.
- Pragmatic, solutions-oriented and able to anticipate regulatory risks before they materialise.
- Fluent in English. French is a strong advantage.
