Introduction
Our client is a well-established international law firm with a strong footprint in Luxembourg, advising leading financial institutions, corporates, and sponsors on a wide range of banking and capital markets transactions.
As part of the continued expansion of its Banking & Capital Markets practice, the firm is looking to recruit a junior to mid-level lawyer to join a dynamic and fast-growing team involved in both straightforward and highly structured transactions.
Responsibilities
Working closely with experienced Partners and senior lawyers, you will be involved in a broad spectrum of transactional matters, including:
- Advising on banking & finance and capital markets transactions, covering both domestic and cross-border aspects
- Assisting on debt and equity capital markets deals, including bond issuances, EMTN programmes and IPOs
- Supporting the structuring and execution of acquisition financing, securitisations and complex financing arrangements
- Drafting and reviewing key legal documentation (offering memoranda, financing agreements, legal opinions, etc.)
- Participating in due diligence processes and liaising with clients, banks, and other stakeholders
- Contributing to the development of long-term client relationships in an international environment

Profile
- Qualified lawyer in an EU jurisdiction
- 1 to 4 years of experience in Banking & Finance and/or Capital Markets, ideally gained within a Luxembourg law firm
- Strong interest in financial transactions and capital markets products
- Solid analytical and drafting skills, with attention to detail
- Autonomous, proactive, and eager to take on responsibility
- Team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Fluent in English (any additional language is considered an asset)
