As a Lead Scrum Master (m/f), you will lead a team of Scrum Masters responsible for overseeing 21 squads delivering over 60 IT services. You will serve as the Release Train Engineer (RTE), guiding the teams through effective Agile methodologies to ensure efficient and high-quality service delivery to external entities consuming hosting services.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Provide mentorship and guidance to Scrum Masters and Agile teams to enhance their understanding and application of Agile principles and practices
  • Conduct and facilitate key Agile ceremonies such as PI (Program Increment) planning, Scrum of Scrums, and retrospectives to enhance communication and coordination across squads
  • Resolve impediments and facilitate effective cross-team collaboration to ensure the smooth execution of program increments
  • Act as the Release Train Engineer (RTE) for the Agile Release Train, orchestrating and optimizing the flow of value through the various squads
  • Collaborate with Product Owners, Product Managers, and other stakeholders to define and prioritize the Program Backlog, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives
  • Implement and maintain metrics to track the performance and health of the Agile Release Train
  • Regularly report on key performance indicators, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing action plans accordingly
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement within the ART, identifying and implementing opportunities to enhance Agile practices, delivery efficiency, and overall team performance
  • Collaborate with external entities and customers to understand their hosting service needs and ensure the alignment of Agile delivery with their expectations
  • Maintain strong communication channels with all stakeholders, providing regular updates on progress and addressing any concerns

Your profile:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced degree or certification in Agile methodologies is a plus
  • Proven experience (min 5 years) in a leadership role within an Agile environment, preferably as a Scrum Master or RTE
  • Strong understanding of Agile principles, SAFe framework, and experience in implementing Agile at scale
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing Agile teams
  • Experience in a public administration or similar complex environment is desirable
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required
