Our client is an international investment company specializing in the Private Equity and Real Estate sectors, managing a diversified portfolio of investments across multiple jurisdictions. As part of the continued expansion of its Luxembourg operations, the firm is looking to recruit an Accountant to strengthen its local finance team.

Your Responsibilities | Accountant – Asset Manager - Private Equity - Luxembourg

  • Participate in the monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes by preparing supporting schedules, reconciliations, and assisting with the preparation of financial reports.
  • Record, reconcile, and monitor intercompany transactions, working closely with finance teams across the group to ensure consistency and accuracy.
  • Support the preparation of VAT returns and other indirect tax documentation, while liaising with external advisors and the Luxembourg tax authorities whenever required.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of accounting processes and internal controls, progressively taking ownership of more complex accounting matters as your experience grows.
  • Assist the Finance team with a variety of ad hoc projects, including financial analyses, process optimization initiatives, and the preparation of documentation required for internal and external audits.

Profile and Career Path | Accountant – Asset Manager - Private Equity - Luxembourg

  • You have at least 2 years of experience in accounting or external audit within Luxembourg, ideally gained in a fiduciary firm, asset manager, audit firm, corporate service provider, or another financial services environment.
  • You hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Previous exposure to SPVs, holding companies, Private Equity, or Real Estate investment structures will be considered a strong advantage.
  • You are fluent in English and enjoy working in a multicultural and international environment. Knowledge of any additional language will be considered an asset.
  • You are comfortable using accounting software and ERP systems; prior experience with Yardi or a similar accounting platform is highly appreciated.
  • You are well-organized, proactive, and eager to develop your technical skills while building a long-term career within a growing international investment company.
