Context:
Cloud-native software development refers to the concept of building and running applications to take advantage of the distributed computing offered by the cloud delivery model. Cloud native apps are designed and built to exploit the scale, elasticity, resiliency, and flexibility the cloud provides in combination with statistical tools, methods, and technology to generate meaning from data.
Artificial Intelligence takes this one step further and uses the data to solve cognitive problems commonly associated with human intelligence, such as learning, pattern recognition, and human-like expression.
What you’ll be doing:
You will be part of the “Cloud-native software development and Data” global team, composed of experienced development engineers and architects deploying technical solution and services on customer premises (Technical Services team).
During the internship, you will receive the support of a senior engineer as well as the team leader to guide you while defining the approach and milestones. You will also have the opportunity to participate in all the team meetings and activities, which will enable you to be immersed in the professional world and to be faced with day-to-day challenges encountered in the work environment.
Knowledge, Skills and Attributes:
- 5th year of a master’s degree or similar
- Familiar with traditional development standards and concepts
- Strong interest in global technology, cloud-native development, containerization, AI and automation in particular
- Having knowledge of modern development language would be considered as an asset
- Fluency in spoken and written in English is mandatory, and additional languages will be an asset
- Demonstrating problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Be capable of working both independently and as part of a fast-moving team
- Having a relevant work experience ( internships, summer positions, school jobs, or first work experience) would be considered as an asset
