About the Role:
For our Global Headquarters, we are looking for a talented Category Management Specialist who will contribute to the development and execution of category strategies across markets, helping drive sustainable growth for both Ferrero and its customers.
Working closely with Sales, Trade Marketing, Business Development and other cross-functional teams, you will transform shopper, market and business insights into category recommendations that influence assortment, shelving, visibility, and in-store execution. Through your work, you will help strengthen Ferrero’s ability to create value for shoppers, customers, and brands across diverse retail environments.
Main Responsibilities:
Thanks to your analytical mindset and understanding of commercial dynamics, you will support the development of category strategies by identifying opportunities through shopper, market, retailer, and sales performance analyses. You will translate insights into actionable recommendations that drive category growth and improve execution across channels and customers.
You will collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Trade Marketing, Business Development and regional teams to ensure category priorities are effectively integrated into customer plans. Through your ability to connect data with business needs, you will contribute to decision-making related to assortment, shelving, visibility, promotional effectiveness, and portfolio productivity.
You will also support the development of category management tools and standards, including the use of planograms, performance tracking frameworks, and execution guidelines. By monitoring key performance indicators and market trends, you will help identify opportunities for continuous improvement and contribute to the successful deployment of category initiatives across markets.
About You:

You will rely on your analytical capabilities and business acumen to interpret shopper, market, and sales data, turning complex information into clear recommendations that support business growth. Thanks to your communication and stakeholder management skills, you will be able to collaborate effectively with teams across functions, markets, and cultures.
You will succeed in this role thanks to your proactive attitude, curiosity, and ability to balance strategic thinking with executional focus. Your strong command of PowerPoint and Excel will enable you to build compelling analyses and presentations, while familiarity with syndicated market data sources and retailer insights tools will be considered an advantage.
Fluent English is required, while additional languages and international exposure will be considered valuable assets in a dynamic and multicultural environment.
