145 companies and 20,000 visitors gathered at the Moovijob Day Luxembourg 2026

The 16th edition of the largest Job and Career Development Fair in the Grand Duchy, the Moovijob Day Luxembourg, took place last Friday, 20 March, at Luxexpo The Box. This edition brought together 145 companies and training organisations, as well as 19,546 visitors, setting a new record for this must-attend event on the Luxembourg job market.

An increasingly attractive event

With more than 15,000 visitors welcomed the previous year, this new edition once again exceeded all expectations. A true place to be for both job seekers and recruiters, the day created real opportunities for exchange around the many possibilities offered by the Luxembourg market, while restoring a human dimension to recruitment and networking.

"I think that coming in person and meeting recruiters directly is completely different from applying online," says one visitor who came to land a job in Luxembourg.

Whether for a job, an internship or training, everyone was able to find what they were looking for, as explained by another visitor attending the event: "It’s a great event, whether you’re looking for a job or an internship. I was able to speak with recruiters, and I’ve already scheduled an interview for next week!"

To enhance the visitor experience, the fair was organised around seven key thematic areas:

An organisation particularly appreciated by visitors: "I had never been to Luxembourg before and this event was the perfect opportunity. I’ve attended several fairs in Metz, but they were often quite limited, unlike today, where all sectors are represented."

At the same time, three free conferences led by market experts allowed participants to explore key topics related to attending a job fair, training and career development.

Real opportunities on the recruiter side

From a company perspective, the event also delivered on all its promises, with numerous meetings and concrete opportunities on the line.

Crèches & Foyers de jour Nascht, attending the fair for the first time, expressed great satisfaction: "We didn’t expect to receive so many applications and with such diversity. We believe several hires will follow, so it’s very positive."

The same observation was shared by Tony Hegarty, Senior HR Officer at Forvis Mazars, who was able to connect with job seekers with diverse and relevant profiles.

The diversity of profiles was indeed evident throughout the day, both in terms of backgrounds and languages: "We have difficulties recruiting certain language profiles, and here we clearly met our target. All our departments received interesting CVs, which should lead to several hires," explains Julie Bernier, HR Manager at SIX Consulting & Engineering S.A.

For Caterina Simonetti, HR Director at Samsic Luxembourg, the conclusion is similar: "We met many candidates and collected numerous CVs. We will be contacting them again as early as next week for potential recruitment."

The success of the event also relies on the loyalty of exhibitors, for which we are grateful: "As with every edition, it’s a great surprise. That’s why we come back every year. For a recruiter, it’s a unique opportunity to meet so many candidates and promote your company," says Stéphie Baumann, Talent Acquisition Specialist at Rotarex, who has been attending for several years.

Tons of recruits

The main objective of our events is to connect recruiters and talent to foster hiring and support the momentum of the Luxembourg job market. A mission we are proud to carry forward, edition after edition.
