For one of our clients, a European Institution located in Luxembourg Kirchberg, Sofitex Talent is currently looking for a
Finance Directorate - Back Office Analyst (M/F)
The post of the Back Office Analyst / Transaction Processing and Management officer is highly technical as it drives the implementation and execution of back-office processes, i.e.:
i. end controls (on a 4-eye principle basis) related to all EIB borrowing, derivatives and treasury instruments
ii. EMIR regulatory reporting
iii. Control of coupon fixings
iv. Money market verification & validation tasks
v. Securities verification & validation tasks
vi. Derivatives verifications & validations
vii. Swift Sending & control
PROFIL
Required Qualification:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field At least 3 years of relevant professional experience
Language Requirements:
Very good knowledge of English
Required experience:
- Experience with financial instruments, ideally from the backoffice perspective (bonds, derivatives, FX, MM instruments)
- Hands-on Treasury Operations - relevant experience in treasury operations, banking operations, or financial markets
- Experience using Treasury Management Systems (e.g., Wall Street Suite, ION) and core banking platforms
Key technical/professional knowledge and skill:
- Very good knowledge of Excel
- Knowledge of a Treasury Management Systems (e.g., Wall Street Suite, ION) is a plus
- Basic knowledge of SWIFT standards (ISO20022)
- Skills in reconciliation, documentation, and audit trail maintenance.
- Openness to AI-enabled process improvements and digital transformation in treasury
- Attention to Detail & Accuracy
- Problem-Solving mindset
This is a great opportunity for a long-term temporary contract (initial 2-month contract + several extensions) to start asap.
Salary: 5800 or 7350EUR gross/month, depending on experience
