POSTE
For one of our clients, a European Institution located in Luxembourg Kirchberg, Sofitex Talent is currently looking for an:
Finance Directorate - Back Office Analyst
Key tasks:
I. Transaction processing of financial instruments such as repo and Collateral
II. Processing of daily Margin calls linked to Swap and Repo business
III. Corporate Actions processing
IV. Settlements monitoring
V. Reconciliation
VI. Escalating and resolving Margin Cal disputes
PROFIL
Required Experience:
- The person must have banking and financial services' industry knowledge, IT competencies, analytical skills, ability to meet deadlines, sand positive team spirit.
- 3 years of experience in a financial service and/or banking environment.
- Advantageous to have experience in:
- Payments and Reconciliation
- Processing of Collateral margin calls
- Corporate Actions.
- Candidate will work in a team of 9 persons.
- Candidate will have permanent interactions within other teams in the Bank and frequent external contacts (counterparties, ...)
- Candidate should be flexible to work both remotely and in the Bank premises primarily. In addition, the candidate should be flexible in relation to working during specific period such as bank holidays and end of year.
Key technical/professional knowledge and skill:
Knowledge of MS Office and Excel is important
Experience working with Swift messaging would be beneficial
Previous experience with Collateral applications such as APEX, or Wallstreet are considered as an advantage.
Required Qualification:
University degree preferably in a business-related field Economics, Finance, Accounting, etc.
Additional relevant postgraduate studies or professional qualification in finance is considered as an advantage.
Language Requirements:
Fluent in English and a good command of French
This is an opportunity for an initial contract of 2 months, with possible extensions afterwards.
Salary ranges between 5,850EUR and 7,350EUR gross per month, depending on experience.
