POSTE

For one of our clients, a financial institution located in Luxembourg Kirchberg, Sofitex Talent is currently looking for a

Finance Business officer Fr-Eng (M/F)

Your tasks:

1. Re-invoicing & invoicing operations

- Manage and execute invoicing and re-invoicing processes
- Monitor accuracy and completeness of billing flows
- Support month-end or periodic invoicing cycles


2. Process optimization & automation

- Optimize and streamline the re-invoicing process
- Develop and maintain automation solutions using Excel (e.g. macros) and Microsoft tools (e.g. Power Automate)
- Improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention in financial workflows


3. Data management & reporting

- Prepare and maintain financial data in Excel (e.g. pivot tables, structured reporting)
- Generate reports and support analysis related to nvoicing activities
- Ensure data consistency and traceability for audit purposes


4. VAT handling & compliance
- Apply VAT rules (Luxembourg, intra-community, extra-community) to invoicing transactions
- Ensure correct VAT treatment and documentation
- Support compliance with applicable tax requirements


5. Accounting support (Lux GAAP)
- Support basic accounting activities in line with Luxembourg GAAP
- Assist in financial postings or reconciliations (as applicable)
- Ensure proper documentation for accounting and audit trails

PROFIL

- Experience in internal finance or within a Management Company (UCITS, AIFs) is preferred
- Proficiency in English and French
- Advanced skills in Excel and Word (e.g., pivot tables, mail merge); automation experience using Microsoft tools such as macros and Power Automate, with the objective of streamlining the re-invoicing process
- Experience with invoicing and re-invoicing processes
- Knowledge of VAT (Luxembourg, intra-community, extra-community)
- Basic knowledge of Luxembourg GAAP (Lux GAAP)

This is an opportunity for a temporary contract, to start asap and till 31st December 2026.

Salary: depending on experience: 4700 - 5200EUR gross/month
