Guarantee Portfolio Services Officer(M/F)
The incumbent(s) report to and work under the supervision of the Head of Guarantee Portfolio Services Unit.
Purpose:
The Guarantee Portfolio Services Unit (hereafter, \"GPS\") is responsible for onboarding, monitoring and processing of data reported by the organisation's financial intermediaries in the context of over 1,000 distinct deals signed with a number of financial intermediaries across Europe (e.g. banks, leasing, funds, etc). The team is actively engaged in supporting the intermediaries in their operational tasks, playing a central role in client onboarding, and is tasked with ensuring completeness, accuracy, and timely integration of the periodic data into the institution's internal systems.
The selected candidate is expected to contribute effectively to the operational execution of guarantee portfolio activities by managing periodic reporting cycles, ensuring the accurate and timely processing of data submitted by Intermediaries, and supporting both clients and internal stakeholders throughout the lifecycle of the underlying transactions in the portfolio. The role requires a structured, proactive approach, strong analytical skills, and the ability to handle multiple priorities while maintaining a high standard of quality and timeliness.
Responsibilities:
The Guarantee Portfolio Services Officer will contribute to the day-to-day execution of operational tasks within GPS, including:
- Managing semi-annual and annual reporting cycle in relation to data pertaining to Capacity Building loans and Securitization-additional portfolios, utilizing the tools such as Alteryx and PowerPlatform applications (namely PowerAutomate and PowerBI);
- Managing quarterly and semi-annual reporting cycles in relation to portfolios of guaranteed loans and other financial transactions, ensuring timely collection, validation and approval of portfolio data submitted by intermediaries in accordance with relevant requirements;
- Driving input into the internal operational scoring methodology, aimed at informing internal prioritisation and management of financial intermediaries based on their adherence to operational and contractual data-related requirements;
PROFIL
Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in the financial sector, namely lending institutions, including banks or guarantee institutions, with a preference to exposure to middle-office functions;
- University degree in Economics, Financial Modelling, Econometrics, or other disciplines related to the management of financial data;
- Solid understanding of Alteryx, Microsoft Excel (including VBA), and exposure to Tableau, PowerBI, Python, PowerAutomate or other similar data management applications;
- Solid understanding of portfolio guarantee mechanisms and management, including management of external client's financial data;
- Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English. Good command of another European language, especially Italian, would be an advantage.
