Your responsibilities
- Participate in the configuration, maintenance, and optimisation of monitoring systems for both internal platforms and external customers.
- Modify existing Skyline DataMiner views based on internal or customer requests, and support the creation of new views, elements, and services to ensure clear operational visibility.
- Configure and maintain alarm and trending templates, reports, and dashboards under the guidance of senior team members.
- Contribute to the integration of adjacent monitoring tools and systems into the monitoring platforms.
- Support the implementation of SLA thresholds and KPI indicators within the monitoring solution.
- Participate in the operational maintenance of the monitoring platforms (DataMiner environment and related systems), including drivers, connectors, software updates, and configuration adjustments.
- Take part in daily operational routines to identify anomalies and propose continuous improvements, with a focus on monitoring quality, proactivity, and efficiency.
- Support operational teams in alarm analysis and trend interpretation.
- Maintain and update documentation related to monitoring guidelines and best practices.
- Collaborate with media operations teams, system maintainers, and Service Delivery Managers to ensure monitoring coverage aligns with service delivery requirements.
Your profile
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- 1–3 years of professional experience in monitoring, IT systems, media technology, or technical operations; alternatively, a technical education in IT, media technology, telecommunications, or a related field.
- Experience working with technical architecture diagrams and monitoring layouts (e.g. Microsoft Visio, draw.io, or similar tools).
- Foundational understanding of monitoring concepts (alerts, thresholds, dashboards, logs) and technologies (SNMP, RestAPI, ICMP, etc.)
- Exposure to live radio or TV production, playout, or broadcast workflows is a plus.
- Experience with Dataminer (Skyline Communications) or any other monitoring system such as PRTG, Icinga, ManageEngine, Grafana is an asset.
- Demonstrates a structured and detail-oriented approach, especially when handling configurations, parameterisation, documentation, and diagrams.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret monitoring data and contribute to issue analysis under guidance.
- Strong communication skills, whether in internal communications or in direct engagement with external customers.
- Team-minded.
- Ability to travel occasionally as required for project activities or operational needs on abroad missions.
- Proficiency in English and French (written and spoken) is mandatory. Fluent in additional languages is an advantage.

As a Junior Monitoring Solution Engineer, you are part of the Monitoring Team and are responsible for ensuring reliable supervision of media and technical services for both internal platforms and customer environments. You contribute to the maintenance, development, and continuous improvement of monitoring configurations based on the Skyline DataMiner solution and related systems.
You support operational teams by enhancing system visibility and promoting structured monitoring best practices. You work closely with media operations teams, infrastructure support, and service delivery managers to ensure that monitoring effectively supports the full-service delivery lifecycle.
