Your responsibilities
Your daily tasks:
- Recruiting, organizing, planning, training and developing the team.
- Being in charge of the development of the department's activities.
- Initiating new department-wide projects and participating in major cross-functional projects.
- Working closely and effectively with other managers to ensure strategic and operational alignment across the company.
- Supervising, organizing and developing operations within the lux-Airport terminal.
- Proposing and implementing actions to optimize tasks and infrastructure within the terminal in order to ensure operational efficiency and the required level of customer satisfaction.
- Cooperating with various external actors (airline, handler, ANSP, etc.) at both operational and tactical levels to ensure the daily operations within the terminal.
Your other missions:
- Establishing and managing the department's budget.
- Participating in airport audits and, following the conclusions, proposing the necessary corrective actions in relation to the operations within the terminal and ensure their implementation.
- Monitoring all ongoing projects and work in the terminal and ensuring operational continuity.
- Initiating and specifying requirements for changes, work, problems, etc., within the terminal.
- Ensuring that all procedures, instructions and manuals are up to date, followed and trained. If missing or sub-optimal, develop and improve them in cooperation with the Experts team (e.g. evacuation, emergency, business continuity).
- Using forecasting data to improve operational planning.
- Ensuring that all emergency and evacuation plans are known and implemented by the whole team.
- Participating in inclusion initiatives (e.g. Hidden Disabilities Sunflower project, for people with invisible disabilities).
- Participating in the integration of new employees.
- Participating in waste sorting and energy saving through responsible behavior.
The required profile
Studies / training:
Postgraduate degree (Master) or equivalent experience
Experience:
10 years of relevant experience in the airport or aviation industry related to passenger services
Skills and knowledge required:

Mandatory:
- Microsoft Office Suite.
Languages:
- French: fluent spoken and written.
- English: fluent spoken and written.
Specific knowledge linked to the job:
- Knowledge of project management.
- Knowledge of all aspects of terminal operations, relevant international and national ICAO standards and recommendations, their interpretation and industry best practice.
