Back Office Analyst – European Institution

Our client, a Investment bank based in Luxembourg is looking for its future Back Office Analyst for their Lending Transactions department.
This will be a temporary contract of 2 months. Please note that this assignment may be extended, in accordance with Luxembourgish law, for a maximum duration of 1 year.

Your responsabilities :
You will support the team responsible for processing and monitoring loan transactions. Your role will involve ensuring that all lending operations are correctly recorded and updated in the internal banking systems.
Your tasks will include:
- Recording key information related to loan agreements in the internal system
- Processing loan disbursements and updates throughout the lifecycle of a loan
- Managing changes such as early repayments, credit updates, restructurings or guarantees
- Ensuring all data is accurate and properly documented
- Working closely with other internal teams involved in the lending process
You will be part of a team of around 9 people and will report to the Head of Unit, while collaborating regularly with colleagues across different departments.
Your profile :
- At least 3 years of experience in banking or financial services, ideally linked to lending or loan processing
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working with IT systems and digital tools
- Ability to manage deadlines and prioritise tasks
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- University degree, preferably in Finance, Economics or another business-related field
- Excellent level of English, both written and spoken
