Senior Operational Risk Officer

Within the Operational Risk Management function, our client is looking for a Senior Operational Risk Officer.

Functions:

• Participate in the development and implementation of the Operational Risk Management Framework
• Perform detailed analysis of operational risk incidents and the underlying root causes (including the setup of meetings with business lines and drafting memo events), review the proposed action plans and follow up on the progress/completion. Maintain the Operational Risk event database
• Support the risk and control assessment process of the risk owners, challenge the proposed assessment and regularly report on the status of the risk
• Review the status of key risk indicators and the level of risk for the respective areas
• Support the preparation of regular risk reports to the management and specialized committees
• Support for the preparation of ICAAP report including incorporation of the implemented scenario analysis results
• Support responses for inquiries from the group, audit, management or other stakeholders
• Participation in specific projects

Profile:

• Studies in Finance/Economics, IT or other technical subjects
• Solid experience in Operational Risk and/or Custody Operations. Knowledge of IT and Information Security will be consider a plus
• Good analysis and reporting skills
• Knowledge and awareness of regulatory requirements
• Good knowledge Funds and Banking industry, including regulations, as well as risk monitoring market practices
• Good command of MS Office applications
• Fluent in English, written and spoken
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Team spirit, stress resilience and analytical as well as problem-solving skills with strong attention to details
