Senior Program Manager – Smart Building & Digital Infrastructure
Your Responsibilities
As a Senior Program Manager, you will lead a major technology programme related to the delivery and operational readiness of a future headquarters in Luxembourg.
You will operate at the intersection of IT, Facilities, Construction, Workplace, Security, business teams and external technology vendors, ensuring that all technology workstreams are aligned with the overall building programme.
This role requires a highly operational and hands-on Senior Program Manager, capable of contributing immediately to execution and delivery activities, with a high degree of autonomy in driving day-to-day programme activities.
Key responsibilities include:
-
Lead the end-to-end technology programme associated with the new headquarters, from design and planning through implementation, testing, migration, go-live and operational readiness.
-
Own and coordinate the integrated master plan across IT, Facilities, Construction, Security, Workplace and business stakeholders.
-
Take a hands-on role in programme execution and delivery, actively driving workstreams, resolving issues and ensuring actions are completed rather than operating solely at governance or reporting level.
-
Coordinate multiple internal teams, external vendors and technology providers, ensuring effective day-to-day execution and accountability.
-
Oversee the delivery and integration of LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, workplace technologies, meeting-room solutions, access control, CCTV, visitor management and digital signage.
-
Coordinate Smart Building and IoT integrations and ensure their effective integration with the wider technology and building environment.
-
Manage dependencies between building infrastructure and IT systems, identifying and resolving technical and operational blockers.
-
Coordinate technical design validation and ensure alignment between technology requirements and the construction programme.
-
Work closely with technical teams and vendors, with sufficient technical understanding to challenge, coordinate and drive technical delivery.
-
Drive programme governance, including planning, milestones, RAID management, dependencies, budget follow-up, vendor management and stakeholder reporting.
-
Coordinate and actively drive testing, commissioning, migration and cutover activities.
-
Ensure full operational readiness ahead of employee move-in, proactively identifying gaps and driving remediation actions.
-
Manage the transition through go-live and hypercare, ensuring continuity of critical services and rapid resolution of operational issues.
-
Act as the central coordination point between technical teams, business stakeholders and programme leadership.
Your Profile
-
10+ years of experience in senior Project / Program Management roles.
-
Proven experience delivering complex, multi-workstream technology programmes in a hands-on and operational capacity.
-
Strong experience with new building, headquarters relocation, office relocation, Smart Building, Digital Workplace and/or major infrastructure transformation programmes.
-
Demonstrable experience taking programmes through actual execution and delivery, rather than focusing primarily on programme governance, PMO or stakeholder reporting.
-
Strong understanding of enterprise IT infrastructure and workplace technologies, ideally including LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, meeting-room technologies, access control, CCTV, digital signage, Smart Building and IoT environments.
-
Proven ability to work closely with technical teams and vendors and to understand, coordinate and challenge technical delivery.
-
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple vendors, senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
-
Strong programme governance, communication, coordination and risk-management capabilities.
-
Experience managing programmes through design, construction, testing, commissioning, migration, cutover, go-live, hypercare and operational readiness.
-
Ability to demonstrate strong hands-on delivery experience in comparable environments.
-
Immediate operational readiness and execution capability, with the ability to contribute effectively from the beginning of the assignment.
-
High level of autonomy in driving day-to-day activities, resolving issues, managing dependencies and maintaining delivery momentum.
-
Previous experience within a large corporate, financial-services or similarly complex environment is highly relevant.
-
Ability to operate effectively in a complex environment involving both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
