Your next challenge:
- Prepare and review monthly consolidated financial statements, journal entries, and variance analyses.
- Compile and analyze financial data to produce monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
- Prepare reports required by regulators.
- Perform variance analysis and explain complex deviations from forecasts or budgets.
- Assist in ensuring financial reporting processes align with internal control frameworks.
- Help assess the financial impact of new products, services, or regulatory changes.
- Ensure consistent financial reporting and a correct piloting of commercial activities to allow commercial teams to take the right commercial actions to serve our clients.
- Perform regular risk assessment within financial control and accounting, ensuring compliance with first and second lines of defense principles.
Your skills:
- Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or an equivalent experience.
- At least 3 years of experience in the banking sector, or in a relevant position.
- Fluency in French and English. Any other language is an asset.
- Knowledge of Treasury Management.
- Good understanding of Internal Controls Design & Implementation, EU & Luxembourg Banking Regulations, and Legal & Regulatory Watch.
- Strong knowledge of Banking & Financial Knowledge, BIL Products & Services, Data Control & Analysis, Financial Reporting, Financial Analysis, and Finance Information Systems.
- Excellent understanding of Regulatory Reporting.
- Shows tact and maturity.
- Strategic-minded and opportunities-driven.
- Clear and structured communication skills, both oral and written.
- Attention to detail, rigour and ownership.
- Solution-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
