Are you currently a Fund Accountant calculating NAVs or a Fund Auditor with between 2 and 6 years of experience, looking to take the next major step in your career?
This opportunity is probably one of the very few chances to join the AIFM of one of the world's largest international banking groups. Although the position is offered as a 7-month fixed-term contract to cover a maternity leave, it represents a genuine gateway into an exceptionally prestigious Management Company. Candidates who demonstrate strong technical expertise, the right mindset and a good cultural fit may naturally be considered for future permanent opportunities should they arise. In other words, you will be evaluated exactly as any long-term employee would be.
Our client is a renowned Luxembourg AIFM managing traditional investment funds as well as Private Equity and Private Debt structures. You will join an experienced Middle Office & Delegate Oversight team and gain exposure to high-value international projects involving Luxembourg, London, Paris, Zurich, Los Angeles and New York.
Your Responsibilities
- Perform ongoing oversight and due diligence of delegated service providers;
- Monitor Fund Administrators, Portfolio Managers, Transfer Agents and Distributors in line with CSSF requirements;
- Coordinate operational projects including fund launches, fund closures and onboarding activities;
- Support operational controls, regulatory reporting and audit coordination;
- Collaborate with Finance on invoicing and management company controls;
- Participate in operational improvements and cross-functional projects involving teams across Luxembourg and international offices.
Your Profile
- Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related discipline;
- Between 2 and 6 years' experience within the Luxembourg fund industry;
- You are currently working as a Fund Accountant (ideally calculating NAVs for UCITS funds) or as a Fund Auditor looking to move into the Management Company environment;
- Exposure to fund valuation is essential, while experience in due diligence or oversight would be a strong advantage;
- Good understanding of investment funds and their service providers;
- Fluent in both French and English;
- Strong analytical mindset with excellent organisational skills.
What You Can Expect
- Join one of Luxembourg's most prestigious AIFMs within a globally recognised financial institution;
- A rare opportunity to move from Fund Accounting or Audit into Delegate Oversight and Management Company activities;
- Exposure to traditional funds, Private Equity and Private Debt;
- Daily interaction with senior professionals and international stakeholders across Europe and the United States;
- An outstanding addition to your CV that will significantly strengthen your profile for future career opportunities.
