You will combine strong technical fund accounting expertise with client relationship and people leadership skills.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Support Relationship Managers and senior management on marketing pitches, RFPs and other client presentations.
  • Act as local point of escalation for clients, investors and other stakeholders on complex or sensitive matters.

Fund Accounting Oversight & Technical Delivery

  • Oversee NAV production, capital call and distribution processing, waterfall and carried interest calculations, and investor reporting for private equity and credit fund structures.
  • Ensure services are delivered in accordance with KPIs, service level agreements, fund documentation (LPAs/PPMs), authoritative accounting guidance (Lux GAAP, IFRS, US GAAP) and applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Review and approve general ledgers, financial statements and NAV packages, and provide guidance on complex or non-standard transactions.
  • Support statutory and client audits, coordinating with auditors, depositaries and other third parties as required.
  • Contribute to SOC 1 design, implementation and ongoing control programmes for the Fund Accounting function.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead, manage and develop a multi-level team of fund accounting professionals, fostering a culture of high performance, continuous improvement and accountability.
  • Coordinate and oversee training and development of staff, including colleagues based in ATOZ's Casablanca centre.
  • Identify talent, support career development and act as part of the local daily management team for the jurisdiction.

Process, Technology & Project Delivery

  • Work closely with Operations and the wider platform team on process improvement, automation and technology enhancement initiatives.
  • Assist with the design and configuration of fund accounting systems and workflow tools to meet evolving client needs.
  • Support onboarding and transition planning for new clients and mandates across Luxembourg and wider Europe.
  • Balance business-as-usual delivery with execution of strategic projects, platform migrations and new product rollouts.

Governance, Risk & Stakeholder Management

  • Participate in risk and quality assurance programmes specific to the Private Equity offering.
  • Coordinate with Legal, Compliance, Tax, Regulatory Reporting and Financial Reporting functions to ensure client satisfaction and regulatory alignment.
  • Manage relationships with third-party service providers including auditors, law firms, depositaries, AIFM’s and administrators.
  • Monitor revenue levels for the assigned client portfolio, support fee negotiations, and follow up on outstanding receivables in cooperation with Relationship Management.

We offer:

  • A key leadership position within a dynamic, fast-growing and ambitious fund services firm.
  • Exposure to a prestigious international client portfolio and complex alternative investment structures.
  • Excellent career development opportunities within a rapidly expanding organisation.
  • A competitive remuneration package reflecting your experience, leadership and expertise.

Experience & qualifications
