Our client, an internationally active investment company, is looking to recruit an Accountant to strengthen its Luxembourg office. Operating across the Private Equity and Real Estate sectors, the firm manages investments on a global scale while maintaining a human-sized and collaborative local team.

The Luxembourg office is composed of approximately twenty professionals who work closely together in a transparent and supportive environment. Your Responsibilities | Accountant – Accounting – Finance – Tax – Internal – Private Equity

• You will participate in the monthly and year-end closing process by preparing supporting schedules and assisting with financial reporting.
• You will record and reconcile intercompany transactions while coordinating with other departments to ensure consistency across the group.
• You will assist with indirect tax compliance by preparing VAT-related documentation and following up with the relevant authorities or external advisors when necessary.
• You will contribute to improving accounting processes and progressively take ownership of more complex assignments as your technical skills develop.
• You will support the Finance team on various ad hoc projects and assist with the preparation of documentation requested during audits.
  
  

Profile and Career Path | Accountant – Accounting – Finance – Tax – Internal – Private Equity

• You have gained at least two years of experience in accounting or external audit within Luxembourg, ideally in a fiduciary, asset manager, audit firm, corporate service provider, or another financial services environment.
• You hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
• Previous exposure to SPVs, holding companies, or Real Estate investment structures will be considered a valuable asset.
• You are fluent in English and enjoy working in an international environment. Any additional language will be appreciated.
• You are comfortable using accounting software, and prior experience with Yardi or a comparable ERP system will be viewed as an asset.
• You are organized, eager to learn, and motivated to expand your accounting knowledge within a growing international business.
