This is a newly created role in Luxembourg aiming to support the development of the European hub of this prestigious life insurance group. Working closely with the head of department, you will be responsible for the daily management of the operations while ensuring the efficiency of the existing procedures and tools in place. You will work closely with the compliance team and the headquarters.

  • Support the Head of Operations in executing strategic initiatives and managing daily tasks, acting as her deputy, collaborating with other departments and group entities across the group.
  • Ensure a qualitative oversight of the outsourced services, monitoring their performance and coordinating their activities to provide a qualitative and timely delivery.
  • Validate and escalate issues related to AML compliance and operations as necessary.
  • Monitor key metrics, tackle operational issues and use data and analytics to have a regular update on customer and conduct behaviour.
  • Tackle operational issues, review and update operational policies



  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in operations in the insurance sector in Luxembourg.
  • Able to understand and anticipate the broader impact of operational decisions on the company’s strategic objectives.
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of AML and first line of defence risks
  • Team player, quality driven, autonomous and open-minded, you are agile, proactive and have a growth mindset.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, you are creative and solution focused.
  • Fluent in English, the knowledge of German, Italian or French will be considered an asset.
  • ICT knowhow (including experience with ICT reporting, implementation of applications, networks and data management) would be a strong asset
