POSTE
For one of our clients, a European Institution located in Luxembourg Kirchberg, Sofitex Talent is currently looking for a : Chief Executive/Deputy Chief Executive - Business Reporting Analyst (M/F)
Job Description: Success in this role requires strong financial literacy, stakeholder diplomacy, and the ability to translate complex data into defensible, Board-level insights. The role is fundamentally analytical and business-facing.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic & Executive Reporting
- Own and deliver enterprise-critical reporting cycles, including Corporate Operational Plan, Monthly Activity Reporting, and Year-End Closing.
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and narrative clarity of all outputs distributed to senior management and Board stakeholders.
- Operate within strict governance frameworks and immovable deadlines.
Group & Institutional Alignment
- Represent the function in group-level data alignment and reporting discussions.
- Test and validate new development in the Group reporting before deployment into production environment.
- Ensure local reporting aligns with group standards and definitions.
Executive & Ad-Hoc Analysis
- Contribute to the definition and enforcement of reporting governance standards.
- Ensure consistency and reliability across reporting outputs, mainly Tableau dashboards.
- Maintain clear documentation of data flows, assumptions, and reconciliation logic.
Executive & Ad-Hoc Analysis
- Deliver fast, high-precision analysis to support senior stakeholders including the top management and directors.
- Respond to urgent, high-visibility requests with accuracy, discretion, and strong business judgment.
- Provide scenario analysis, reconciliations, and actionable insights to support strategic decision-making.
PROFIL
Typical Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative or technical discipline — preferably Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science.
Professional Experience
- 3-5years of experience in management reporting, risk reporting, or governance-focused analytics roles.
- Proven exposure to Board-level or senior executive reporting in regulated or highly controlled environments.
Technical & Analytical Skills
- Advanced Excel (complex formulas, Power Query, data modelling, reconciliations, VBA knowledge).
- Solid experience with reporting tools such as Tableau and/or Business Objects.
- Strong ability to validate, challenge, and interpret data produced by technical teams.
- Knowledge of Alteryx and/or SQLwill be considered as an advantage

This is an opportunity for an initial contract of 2 months, with possible extensions afterwards.
