Manpower is seeking a Payments Officer for one of its clients in the banking sector, located in Luxembourg, as part of a temporary assignment.
Your missions:
- Process and monitor domestic and international payments (SWIFT, SEPA, wires)
- Verify completeness, accuracy, and compliance of payment instructions
- Digitalise, classify, and maintain traceability of payment documentation
- Update internal systems and ensure data quality across payment workflows
- Investigate and resolve payment rejects, returns, and exceptions
- Apply internal procedures rigorously and ensure compliance with regulatory and AML standards
- Collaborate closely with Operations, Compliance, Treasury, and Client Services teams
- Contribute to the teamâs efficiency through structured organisation and strong communication
Your profile:
- Bachelorâs or Masterâs degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field
- 3 to 10 years of experience in payments processing within banking or financial institutions
- Strong understanding of SWIFT, SEPA, and international payment flows
- Rigorous, organised, and attentive to details
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal teams
- Strong command of MS Office and payment processing systems
- Fluent English is mandatory; French or German is an advantage
