Our job opportunity
Today, we are currently recruiting a Manager Capacity & Performance.
Your responsibilities
*Your daily tasks
As a communicative, data-driven and open-minded personality, with a weakness for aviation, you are responsible for ensuring the Airside & Landside Capacity Development and Performance Framework of Luxembourg’s only Airport as well as managing related projects.
As the Manager Capacity & Performance, you will directly report to the Head of Operational Planning & Development within the department Operations.
Managing a team of domain experts in the area of capacity planning & performance with a focus on optimized resource management processes
Responsible for the deceleration and evaluation of Terminal & Airside capacity also in the context of the slot management process
Lead and supervision on creation of capacity studies for Landside & Airside infrastructure
Determination of capacity needs for the mid-and long-term planning based on forecast & DDFS
Linking this with concrete development projects & short-term improvements, managed under own responsibility, in scope of Terminal & Airside Master Planning & Capacity Development
Development, establishment and optimization of a Resource Management System & environment
Ensuring that the seasonal capacity planning is prepared
Aligning infrastructure and strategic capacity investments with the airport strategy and existing or new arising revenue streams
Undertake statistical analysis involving data collection, data interpretation to enhance decision making
Overview of the establishment and further development of the Airport Performance Framework and ensuring accurate performance setting, monitoring and reporting to internal and external stakeholders
Responsible for supporting the establishment of new, and proper utilization of existing operational tools & applications
Managing key internal and external stakeholder relationships including airlines, ground handlers and 3rd party operators in scope of capacity planning & development
Reviewing and further developing of relevant documentation
Development of forecast & DDFS and keeping it up to date
Budget planning & follow-up of your sub-department
Participating in the integration of new employees

Participating in inclusion initiatives (e.g. Hidden Disabilities Sunflower project, for people with invisible disabilities).
Participating in the integration of new employees
Participating in waste sorting and energy saving through responsible behavior

The required profile
Studies / training
Postgraduate degree (Master of Science/Engineering diploma) in Aviation Management, Airport Planning or related fields (Air Traffic Management, Aerospace, Transport)
You have knowledge of relevant international standards and recommendations (ADRM, ICAO, EASA) and their interpretation
You have experience in airport operations and airport capacity planning
You have experience with the application of standard Project Management techniques and experience in managing multi-stakeholder and interdisciplinary projects.
You are characterized by analytical, conceptual and networked thinking paired with very high communication- and verbal skills.
You are a team player with a customer-oriented approach
A high degree of reliability, flexibility and independence rounds off your profile
Skills and knowledge required
*IT Tools
Mandatory:
You have good IT user skills in MS-Office, MS-Visio, BI-Tools
You have knowledge of simulation modelling software such as CAST, AirTop, etc.
*Languages
Mandatory:
English: fluent spoken and written (C1 minimum)
Optional:
French: advanced level (B2 minimum)
German: advanced level (B2 minimum)
