ASSET MANAGEMENT ANALYST (exclusive mandate)

Joining an international asset manager, this newly created role will offer you the opportunity to work directly with the asset management director. You will develop your skills and gain exposure in key areas of alternative fund administration and financial controlling. The position not only covers oversight of daily funds operations, but also all the Luxembourg aspects of the asset management, including fund management and reporting.

Your Responsibilities

• Compilation of the financial data from the investment team and/or portfolio CFOs
• Reconciliation of Fund Accounting, Registrar and Transfer Agent, and Depositary data
• Help with the preparation of capital call and distribution notices for investors
• Support in the preparation of budgets, forecasts and cash flows
• Support in cash management and treasury
• Coordination of the reporting process with 3rd party service providers
• Coordination work with the Risk & Compliance teams on group requests

Your Profile 

Master degree in finance, accounting or similar completed with a minimum of 3 successful years of experience in the asset management/ investment funds industry

Expertise and technical knowledge of IFRS and LUX GAAP accounting 

Fluent (written and spoken) English is a must; any other European languages will be an advantage

Financial analytical skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Highly organized and detail / efficiency orientated

Proactive hands-on mentality / can-do attitude / inquisitive and self-motivated
