Our client is a prominent company in the transport and logistics industry, specializing in the safe and efficient delivery of sensitive goods across Europe. With a strong focus on innovation and cutting-edge technologies, they operate a large fleet and provide real-time data solutions that enhance their logistics processes.
Context:
The IT department plays a key role in the company’s success, focusing on providing advanced data solutions and integrating IoT technology to drive operational efficiency. As part of their ongoing growth, they are expanding their IT team in Luxembourg and are looking for a talented Data Engineer to help develop and implement their data infrastructure.
Your Role:
As a Data Engineer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and optimize ETL processes, build data warehouses, and ensure smooth data integration across systems. You will focus on improving data quality, governance, and user experience for both internal and external customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work cross-functionally with teams to enhance data architecture and performance.
- Design and implement ETL processes and data interfaces (using Talend).
- Ensure data quality, governance, and continuous improvement.
- Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues from support teams.
- Maintain technical documentation for processes and systems.
What We Are Looking For:
- Master’s degree in a scientific field (preferably Computer Science).
- Experience with ETL, Talend, data interfaces, and web services.
- Strong understanding of data architecture and data warehouse design.
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Fluent in English (German and/or French is a plus).
