    • The term of maintenance technician is popular in Luxembourg, since it also refers to other roles, enabling any candidates to work in various fields. Working as a maintenance operative consists in taking care of the company's fleet of machine tools and making sure they work well. The aim is to reduce downtime in production and improve the machines' performance and productivity. The maintenance engineer installs, sets, and activates equipment.     To land a job in the industrial maintenance you must at least have a General certificate, or Technical certificate.
