Embedded Software Development Engineer (m/f)
Located in Bissen / Luxembourg
Your responsibilities would include:
- Development of real time software for electronics systems according to agreed timeline, respecting required quality and performance levels
- Support component level software requirements analysis
- Elaborate appropriate software architectures
- Design software on component level
- Code and test of software components
- Participate in review of use cases, software requirements and software architecture
- Organize and participate in reviews of software design, code and tests
- Handle configuration management, problem resolution for allocated components, quality audits
- Support SW process improvements
- Support SW coordinators and team leader to plan and execute SW projects
You would need to meet the following requirements:
- Academic degree in engineering, preferably in electronics engineering, computer science or equivalent
- Working experience in C as an embedded programming language
- Working experience with:
- Object Oriented Analysis and Design with UML
- Embedded software architecture
- Micro-controller hardware and peripherals
- Requirement managing tools
- Knowledge of automotive processes and quality standards (SPICE, ASIL, HIS, MISRA)
- Knowledge of functional safety standards like ISO 26262 or similar
- Knowledge of cyber security standards like ISO/SAE 21434 or similar
- Knowledge of IBM Rhapsody tool chain or similar
- Excellent communication, analytical and team working skills
- Fluency in English (spoken and written); German or French is considered an asset
