POSTE
On behalf of one of our partner in the international banking IT consulting sector, we are looking for a motivated IT Consultant to join a growing international team. The position offers the opportunity to work on exciting projects with leading financial institutions across Europe, with a focus on Avaloq core banking solutions.
Responsibilities
- Act as a key link between business and IT in projects focused on the implementation and enhancement of Avaloq core banking software at prominent financial institutions.
- Support the full implementation lifecycle: requirements gathering, specification, implementation, documentation, quality assurance, and final integration testing.
- Configure software modules and tailor them to client needs, design interfaces, and implement them using PL/SQL and Avaloq Script.
- Contribute to the development of internal software solutions and play an active role in broadening the service offering.
PROFIL
- Degree in business informatics, computer science, or a related field.
- Practical experience in software development, with solid knowledge of relational databases, SQL, and programming (e.g., Java, C++).
- Previous exposure to Avaloq and/or banking processes is a strong plus.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, combined with a proactive, client-oriented mindset.
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
- Willingness to travel for longer-term project assignments in Germany, Luxembourg, and Switzerland.
- Excellent command of English (written and spoken); French is an asset.
