We are looking for : Senior Purchaser (F/M/X) for a company based in Grevenmacher.
Role:
• Handles relevant purchasing processes (within defined category/program/etc.) in a moderate/regional environment • Develops, coordinates and implements the purchasing strategy within the defined category/program • Sets-up and develops a strategic supplier base within the defined category/program • Coordinates and executes sourcing processes for category/program (supplier selection, RFQ, negotiation, source decision matrix, sourcing committee) • Conducts contract negotiations with suppliers with large business volume • Reviews consistently, drives quality and competitiveness of suppliers and develops corrective actions if needed • Drives task forces on regional and global level • Coordinates and executes sourcing processes for category (steer supplier selection, negotiation, sourcing committee) • Contributes significantly to the global purchasing strategy • Drives the collaboration with global acting suppliers (Global Supplier Owner) depending on the assigned category
PERMANENT POSITION
Profile
• Master’s degree in business management, Business Administration or Purchasing focus required • 5+ years of experience in a progressive purchasing career • Have technical background or technical understanding • Advanced knowledge of purchasing and global market • Strong communication, networking and negotiation skills • Experience in automotive environment, tier 1 and category management • Glass knowledge is a great asset • Advanced/Intermediate skill level with Microsoft Office Suite; Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
