We are looking for a Quality Inspector (M/W/X) for a company in Clervaux.
Description :
- Carrying out risk assessments to determine the risks and essential health and safety requirements that apply to the relevant machine.
- Performing conformity procedures to assess the requirements established in the risk assessment on the basis of Harmonized European Standards.
- Reviewing the technical documentation containing descriptions, user manuals and the performed risk assessments.
- Verifying certificates and drawing up the EU Declaration of Conformity to confirm the compliance of the machine/installation with the CE regulations.
- Authorizing the CE marking to the machine or installation.
- Acting as authorized person to compile the technical files according EC machinery directive
- Following up and implementing applicable standards
- Maintaining and purchasing organisation of new standards
- Acting in an advisory function regarding directives, standards and risk assessment

Profile
- Qualified education in mechanical and/or electrical engineering, holding a technical diploma and/or an engineering degree
- Proficient in English and German and/or French
- Strong understanding of European mechanical engineering regulations, including the European Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Safexpert & Sistema would be an advantage
