Mechanic Wheels & Brakes

Task Responsibilities:    

• Accomplish repairs and overhaul on aircraft wheels and brakes
• Maintain and operate the shop equipment/machines according to his training
• Maintain/service shop tools and equipment
• Report any unsafe conditions or defects to his supervisor

Essential Requirements For The Position:    

• Secondary technical education (CATP, DAP or equivalent) or an apprenticeship as mechanic.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar position.
• Good knowledge of mechanical systems.
• Able to read manuals and diagrams.
• Willing to learn repairs and maintenance practices.
• Detail oriented and conscientious worker.
• Team spirit and good communication skills.
• Fluency in written and spoken English, any other language will be considered as an advantage.
• Familiar with MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook).
   

Working Conditions

• full time position, based in Luxembourg
• shift work as per the shop working schedule 
• A certificate of good Conduct will be required in case of positive selection
• The successful candidate will have to obtain a valid medical fitness certificate for the job issued by the Company doctor prior to the start of the employment.
• The positions qualify as safety-sensitive personnel as per EU Regulation 965/2012. The successful candidate will have to be tested for psychoactive substances prior to the start of the employment.
