Your next challenge:
- Lead and execute audit engagements focused on credit risk, credit underwriting, loan origination, collateral management, and credit monitoring.
- Assess the Bank's compliance with EBA Guidelines on Loans Origination and Monitoring and other relevant regulatory expectations (CSSF, ECB, SSM).
- Evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of controls across the credit lifecycle, including risk assessment, approval processes, pricing, monitoring, and remediation
- Evaluate credit file reviews performed, including borrower analysis, repayment capacity, collateral valuation, and risk grading.
- Evaluate the Bank's alignment with BCBS 239 principles, including data governance, data quality, aggregation capabilities, and the reliability of credit risk reporting.
- Identify control weaknesses, root causes, and emerging risks, and formulate clear, actionable recommendations. Perform reviews on financial control and business analysis processes
- Perform the audit assignments in accordance with the audit methodology and the audit plan
- Deliver the conclusions of the assignments in audit reports and issue recommendations to improve the existing processes when relevant
- Contribute to the follow-up of recommendations
- Build expertise in the areas audited, particularly through the assessment of applicable regulations, and the follow-up of risks, controls and procedures in place
Your skills:
- You hold a Master's degree in Finance or Accounting
- You are fluent in English & French
- You benefit from experience as Internal Auditor in a financial institution or as external auditor in an international audit firm
- You have experience in conducting credit file reviews and assessing borrower risk profiles
- You have knowledge of credit risk management frameworks
- You have knowledge of financial and risk reporting standards
- You have knowledge of European regulatory frameworks, including EBA guidelines and ECB requirements
- You have understanding of Credit Products, Policies & Procedures
- You have good understanding of credit processes, laws and regulations
- Your adaptability, your team spirit and your interpersonal skills are obvious
- You have multi-tasking capabilities
- You have excellent analytical and writing skills
- You are a problem solver with a pragmatic mindset
- You have good time management skills
- You are proactive, autonomous and rigorous
- The knowledge of Data Analytics will be considered as an asset
