Ready to Take the Next Step in Your Career?
Some accounting positions offer stability. Others offer progression. This opportunity combines both.
Our client, an independent investment management company specialising in Private Equity, is looking for an experienced accounting professional eager to move into a broader role with genuine management responsibilities. Working directly with the CFO, you will gradually become one of the key decision-makers within the finance department while remaining technically involved.
If you enjoy combining operational accounting, team leadership and strategic exposure, this position will give you exactly that.
What Will Your Role Look Like?
Rather than managing only your own portfolio, you will oversee the accounting activities of multiple investment structures while coordinating a small finance team :
- Supervising and supporting accountants, reviewing their work and ensuring deadlines are respected.
- Managing the accounting lifecycle of Luxembourg investment vehicles, including Private Equity entities, holdings and SOPARFIs.
- Producing annual accounts and periodic financial reporting in compliance with Luxembourg accounting standards.
- Acting as the main contact person for auditors, banks, tax advisers and other external partners.
- Preparing financial information required for governance meetings and supporting senior management in decision-making.
- Identifying opportunities to improve internal processes and strengthening the organisation of the finance department.
- Working closely with the CFO on projects linked to the company's future development.
Who Are We Looking For?
- Around 10 years of accounting experience within an AIFM, PSF, fiduciary or investment company.
- Previous experience supervising or coaching colleagues.
- Strong knowledge of Luxembourg investment structures.
- Fluency in English and French. Italian would be an additional advantage.
- A pragmatic mindset, strong organisational skills and the willingness to take ownership of projects.
Why Join This Company?
- Salary up to €90,000, depending on your experience.
- Annual discretionary bonus.
- Clear career progression towards becoming the CFO's right hand.
- Flexible working hours and hybrid working policy.
- €15 meal vouchers and health insurance.
- Modern offices with parking.
- A collaborative environment where decisions are made quickly and your contribution has a tangible impact on the business.
