Mission

Our objectives are to introduce you to the various concepts of risk management and internal control, and to involve you in their implementation within a public body. More generally, we aim to introduce you to the professions of prudential supervision and to facilitate your integration within a professional work environment.

You will be accompanied by a dedicated professional tutor, who will guide and advise you throughout your internship.

Role & responsibilities

  • You will be part of the team responsible for providing the CSSF’s management with an overview of the risks the organisation faces or could face, and for coordinating mitigation actions.
  • You will work on identifying and managing risks within the different CSSF departments through the management of their operational incidents and the development of their risk mapping. In this context, you will participate in process analyses aimed at identifying internal control improvements.
  • You will actively contribute in the management of operational incidents, the monitoring of improvement plans, and the preparation of periodic reports on CSSF’s operational risks.

Your profile

  • Student attending the last year of university studies for a Master 2 in finance/audit or internal control, risk management ;
  • Fluency in written and spoken French and English. Proficiency in German or Luxembourgish would be an advantage ;
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint tools ;
  • A strong interest in risk management and the challenges of the financial sector ;
  • Good analytical, summary, and proactive skills ;
  • Critical thinking, rigor, and organizational skills;
  • Good interpersonal, adaptability, and communication skills ;
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
