This is an amazing opportunity for an experienced manager to join a successful financial group and to work closely with a finance manager and a CFO, supporting them with the management of the Luxembourg activities. Together with a team of accountants, you will support and take over 50% of the tasks currently performed by the CFO in all relevant fields of Finance (Accounting, Controlling and Tax), and spend the rest of your time working on various projects such as the integration of a new ERP.

Your Responsibilities


Reporting to the CFO, your responsibilities will include among others:


Controlling

  • Act as a Controlling Manager, lead and manage the budget and forecast 
  • Lead and be part of monthly closing (P&L review, variances analyses, ensure timing and completeness of KPIs…)
  • Support, review and challenge produced reports/figures

Process improvements

  • Together with the accounting manager and the CFO, ensure that the processes are in line with the corporate guidelines and local regulations
  • Act as the local point of contact for tax assessments
  • Lead financial and internal audits
  • Support a migration project of accounting activities 

Finance partnering

  • Support the business with finance related questions and topics
  • Provide ad hoc support during tenders and offers
  • Support Asset Valuation in regard with pricing

Your Profile 


  • Master ‘degree in Economics, Management or similar completed with at least 10 years of experience in a similar role within the financial sector
  • Solid experience in Controlling, knowledge of Tax and Accounting
  • Fluent in French and English (both languages are mandatory)
  • Good IT skills (Excel, ERP, BI tools)
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, agile, organised, autonomous with ana analytical mindset.
