Your Role
As Assistant Restaurant Manager, you support the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily operations and ensuring a seamless guest experience.
You act as a key link between the team and management, combining operational excellence with strong interpersonal skills.
You contribute to maintaining high service standards, team cohesion, and efficient restaurant performance, while embodying Jane’s culture of care and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
o Support the Restaurant Manager in supervising daily restaurant operations
o Ensure smooth and efficient service, maintaining high standards at all times
o Assist in scheduling, team coordination, and daily briefings
o Participate in recruitment, onboarding, and team training
o Monitor stock levels, assist with purchasing, and support cost control
o Help track key performance indicators and contribute to financial follow-up
o Ensure compliance with hygiene, food safety, and safety regulations
o Actively participate in service and lead by example on the floor
o Handle guest feedback and contribute to continuous improvement of the guest experience
What We’re Looking For
o Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in a supervisory role in hospitality, ideally in a fast-paced or high-end environment
o Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
o Natural leadership and ability to motivate a team
o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
o Proactive, hands-on mindset with the ability to adapt quickly
o Basic understanding of operational and financial indicators
o Comfortable with digital tools (POS systems, scheduling, inventory tools)
o Good knowledge of hygiene and safety standards
o Fluent in French and English; Luxembourgish or other languages are an advantage
