Cebi International S.A., the mother company of the group based in the same premises as Cebi Luxembourg S.A., is looking for an Corporate Business Applications Manager for its IT department.

The Manager of Business Applications is responsible for overseeing the administration of Business Applications in Cebi Group. He will develop, document, implement, maintain, and enforce the comprehensive business applications strategy, standards, and processes.

In the context of the digital transformation of Cebi, he will actively participate to the deployment of critical new corporate solutions for the group. In this regard, he will take a leading role in the coming corporate ERP project.


Your Mission:


  • Participate in the definition of the IT and digitalization vision and strategy
  • Develop the IT business applications roadmap in accordance with business needs, Enterprise Architect guidelines and recommendations, and following the technology trends in the manufacturing industry.
  • Lead the execution of group wide business applications projects, with a focus on the coming corporate ERP project
  • Manage business applications operational activities, including software development
  • Develop rollout/release plans for both new applications and upgrades of existing applications
  • Ensure that business applications comply with company information security policies
  • Adhere to agree upon service levels (i.e. project schedules, system availability, etc.)
  • Provide leadership for continuous communication, support and training for business applications
  • Be responsible for the negotiation and monitoring of related contracts with external suppliers as well as the vendor management thereafter according to internal regulations in force
  • Manage the Business Applications team (including hiring, performance reviews, etc.)
  • Prepare and control the department’s budget planning
  • Be responsible for the guidelines and standard definition of application lifecycle.
  • Be responsible for maintaining the operational documentation of the business applications
  • Be responsible for the establishment and updating of the department’s procedures


Your Profile:


  • Master degree in Information Technology
  • ITIL certification or an equivalent IT certification
  • 10 years or more in a similar role, managing IT Business Applications and teams preferably in manufacturing environment
  • Proven experience in the deployment and management of large business applications projects such as corporate ERP
  • Familiar with enterprise-class solutions such as Enterprise resource planning (ERP), Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Quality Management System (QMS), Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Human resources management systems (HRMS), Enterprise content management (ECM) systems and Content management systems (CMS).
  • Knowledge of Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) systems
  • Project Management skills
  • Expertize in business analysis, development and application lifecycle management.
  • Knowledge of Application software architecture concept (data model, database,…)
  • People management abilities: developing talents and teams
  • Strong enterprise-oriented mindset based on value-added
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and deal with unforeseen and urgent issues
  • Capable of driving changes in a fast evolving environment
  • Open-minded and solution oriented
  • Able to learn and understand new technologies
  • Accurate and reliable
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written), basic level in French
  • Available for business travel, up to 30% of the time
