Officer Cost & Performance Control (Temporary Replacement - 6 Months)
The Flight Operations Cost & Performance Control team is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented professional to join the department on a 6-month fixed-term contract. Reporting to the Manager Cost & Performance Control, the successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the department's daily operations through the management and validation of operational and crew-related data, the administration various records ( flight, fuel…) , and the maintenance of workforce planning information. In addition, the role will contribute to operational performance analyses and support a broad range of activities aimed at ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery of the department's responsibilities.
Tasks & Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Controlling and processing post-flight operational data in AIMS, including flight times, crews on board, fuel consumption, cargo information, and operational records.
- Ensuring the accuracy and completeness of flight documentation and maintaining related archives.
- Supporting recurrent and ad hoc operational analyses by collecting, reviewing, and organizing relevant data.
- Support crew manpower planning records and workforce capacity / scenario analyses.
- Assisting with crew-related administrative processes and responding to operational queries from internal departments
- Providing support to digitalization initiatives within the department
- Supporting additional administrative and reporting activities as required by the Manager Cost & Performance Control.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance, Economics, or an equivalent discipline.Â
- Ideally three years of professional experience in an administrative, analytical, finance, payroll, planning, or operational support role.Â
- Strong analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to manage, validate, and reconcile data while handling multiple priorities and deadlines.Â
- High attention to detail and the ability to quickly understand complex processes, systems, and operational workflows.Â
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build effective working relationships across departments.Â
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.Â
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel for data analysis and reporting.Â
- Experience with SAP (R/3 HR modules) and/or AIMS would be considered an asset.Â
- Fluency in English is required; knowledge of French, German, and/or Luxembourgish would be considered an advantage.Â
- Previous exposure to aviation operations, crew administration, payroll processes, manpower planning, or performance analysis would be considered a strong asset.
