FundPartner Solutions provides a full suite of fund administration and private label funds services. The global team of industry experts specialises in fund domiciliation, registration and governance, as well as risk compliance and investment management services.
Technology & Operations design and integrate software applications ranging from portfolio management systems, trading platforms to banking and corporate solutions. The division is responsible for some of the Group’s key innovations while sustaining business operations and developing custodian and funds administration services.
As part of the Risk & Compliance Department, working on the Investment Controlling and Support team, and reporting directly to the team head, you will mainly be responsible for:
- Setting up Investment limits in Investment Controlling (herafter “IC”) tool;
- Point of contact between application users and IT development team;
- Continuous improvement of the application tool;
- Daily support of IC Team (production team in charge of exception analysis) on system/ rules related questions.
Your role
The team’s duties include the following:
- Ensure accurate setup of investment restrictions, investment policies and guidelines for funds of all types (UCITS (Part 1&2) , AIF, Raifs, etc.).
- Preliminary analysis on feasibility of all controls in the tools available in case of new fund launches, subsequent prospectus changes and regulatory update.
- Participate in and monitor development projects related to Investment Controlling activity.
- Manage and track IT service requests resolution.
- Participate in the specifications, development and testing of the IC tool developments.
- Provide technical support within the framework for IC related questions (Client, AUDIT).
- Ensure the implementation and compliance of new and existing procedures.
- Report to the department Head.
Your profile
Qualifications and experience:
- University degree (BAC+4/BAC+5) in Finance, Economics, Risk Management and/or Mathematics/Statistics.
- Minimum 5 years’ proven experience in the area of investment restrictions, the investment fund industry or with a banking institution with focus on IC tool parametrization.
- Experience in project management and/or IC system development (specs, coordination with IT and testing).
Specific knowledge:
- In-depth knowledge of investment rules parametrization systems (MIG21, LineData, CRIMS or other equivalent IC monitoring tool).
- Knowledge of related software (Bloomberg, Telekurs, MS office, Custody bank, Fund accounting systems).
- In-depth knowledge of the regulations applicable to Fund investment controlling activity (in-depth knowledge of SFDR is a plus).
- In-depth Knowledge of financial products, derivative instruments, financial markets, risk management techniques as well as fund regulations related to these and/or impacting IC activity.
- Ability to interpret legal and regulatory provisions as well as investment policies and guidelines and stay updated on latest regulatory development.
- Knowledge of the different businesses involved in the investment fund industry (Asset management, custodian bank, transfer agent and fund administration).
- Knowledge of certain notions in the area of IT is a plus.
Languages:
- Written and spoken fluency in French and English (German a plus).
