Since 1 July 2018, all national emergency response actors in Luxembourg have been brought together under a single entity: the Corps grand-ducal d’incendie et de secours (CGDIS).

The Recruitment Service supports the various directorates, departments and services in defining and meeting their staffing needs. It is responsible for recruiting professional firefighters as well as administrative, technical and specialised profiles (IT, engineering, logistics, healthcare, etc.).
From needs analysis to onboarding, the Recruitment Service ensures a structured, transparent and fair recruitment process. It manages job postings, candidate pre-screening, the organisation of assessments and interviews, and provides guidance to candidates throughout the entire process.
