The second editions of the Moovijob Day Luxembourg in Metz and Trier were a resounding success. Bringing together 35 exhibitors and 4,742 visitors in Metz, as well as 39 exhibitors and 3,589 visitors in Trier, these events provided talents from across the Greater Region with a unique opportunity to meet Luxembourg-based companies and explore new career prospects.
A look back at two days filled with meaningful exchanges, valuable connections and professional opportunities, once again highlighting the attractiveness of the Luxembourg labour market.
A successful mobilisation ahead of the events
The success of the Metz and Trier job fairs was built on thorough preparation carried out several months in advance. Through a targeted communication strategy combining advertising campaigns, digital marketing, social media, flyer distribution and email campaigns, Moovijob.com successfully engaged companies, training organisations and talents from across the Greater Region.
To help participants make the most of their visit, numerous tips were shared before the events, including advice on optimising their CV, identifying companies they wished to meet and preparing effectively for the day.
On the day itself, every detail was designed to facilitate networking. Thanks to a visitor guide, a floor plan and an exhibitor layout organised by thematic zones, attendees were able to navigate the fairs easily and focus on the companies that matched their expectations. This organisation encouraged countless interactions and enabled recruiters and talents alike to establish valuable connections.
The importance of this preparation was also reflected in the testimonials collected on-site. A visitor at the Metz edition explained: "Thanks to the event website, I was able to identify in advance the companies that would be attending and the opportunities they were offering. I arrived prepared with copies of my CV."
In Trier, a student looking for his first job highlighted the effectiveness of the communication campaign: "I discovered the event through the advertising around Trier. It was impossible to miss!" He added that both the registration process and the emails received before the event helped him prepare his visit efficiently.

The Moovijob Day Luxembourg in Metz
Following the success of its first edition, the Moovijob Day Luxembourg returned to Metz on 22 May 2026 at the Robert Schuman Congress Centre. From 10am to 5pm, Luxembourg recruiters and regional talents had the opportunity to meet and discuss the many career opportunities available on the Luxembourg job market.
Visitors praised the quality of the discussions they had with attending companies. One participant seeking a position in compliance shared his experience: "I really like this fair because you can genuinely talk to recruiters. They can also advise you on your application and point out areas where you can improve."
Another attendee particularly appreciated the human aspect of the event: "Being able to meet and speak directly with people is important. It feels much more personal than simply sending emails."
Recruiters were equally enthusiastic about the quality of the profiles they met. For the team at Sodexo Luxembourg, the event provided an opportunity to "meet highly qualified talents who are not yet fully familiar with the Luxembourg labour market."
Inditex, attending the fair for the first time, also reported excellent results: "We have already received numerous applications and scheduled several interviews."
L22 School of Business shared the same positive assessment, praising both the organisation of the event and the diversity of profiles encountered throughout the day. Fischer-Panelux likewise highlighted the quality of the exchanges and the relevance of the applications received, with several interviews already arranged following the fair.
Fonds du Logement, also participating in Metz for the first time, particularly valued the opportunity to meet visitors face-to-face:
"We receive a very large number of applications. Being able to meet candidates in person, particularly those with unconventional career paths, allows for a more relevant match between opportunities and talents," explained one of its representatives.
Beyond the networking opportunities, visitors were also able to attend several free conferences throughout the day, providing valuable insights and advice on the Luxembourg job market.

The Moovijob Day Luxembourg in Trier
Following the success of its inaugural edition, the Moovijob Day Luxembourg in Trier also returned on 19 June 2026, from 10am to 5pm, at Messepark.
Visitors once again particularly appreciated the opportunity to engage directly with attending companies. One participant looking for a job explained: "I heard about the fair on Instagram and, after seeing the companies that would be attending, I decided to register and come along." She added that she had already identified a vacancy that interested her and was able to meet the relevant recruiters and secure an interview.
Another visitor emphasised the value of face-to-face discussions: "It’s very interesting to be able to speak directly with recruiters. It’s a good exercise, but it also allows you to discuss current opportunities and even positions that have not yet officially opened for recruitment."
Exhibitors were equally satisfied with this second edition. The Synergie teams appreciated the many conversations held throughout the day and the diversity of profiles they encountered. Daedalus Engineering shared the same enthusiasm, highlighting both the quality of the exchanges and the variety of candidates who visited their stand. Dennemeyer and KPMG also expressed their satisfaction, praising not only the quality of interactions but also the overall organisation of the event, which enabled them to meet numerous candidates matching their recruitment needs.
Attending for the second consecutive year, Laboratoires Réunis also reported a positive outcome from their participation:
"The discussions were highly relevant, and taking part in this fair in Trier is important for us, as a large proportion of our employees come from this region," explained a company representative.
This edition also featured a new attraction that proved particularly popular with visitors. A professional photographer hosted a dedicated photo stand in the lounge area, allowing participants to obtain a professional portrait for their CV, LinkedIn profile or any other job search-related purpose.
