The Moovijob Day Luxembourg, held on 20 March 2026 at Luxexpo The Box, was a real success, and Moovijob.com has no intention of stopping there. In 2026, the job board is once again taking the concept a step further by heading to France and Germany to meet talent beyond Luxembourg’s borders. The Moovijob Day Luxembourg in Metz and the Moovijob Day Luxembourg in Trier will offer talent from the Greater Region and Luxembourg-based companies a unique opportunity to meet and discuss, face to face, the career opportunities available in the Grand Duchy.
A key figure to keep in mind: according to LISER (Luxembourg Institute of Socio-Economic Research), nearly 90% of new entrants to the Luxembourg job market in 2024 were born abroad. This means they are predominantly immigrants and cross-border workers. Once again, this highlights the multicultural and attractive nature of the Luxembourg labour market.
Luxembourg comes to Metz
This year, the Moovijob Day Luxembourg kicks off in Metz. Following a memorable first edition that brought together around forty exhibitors and more than 4,000 visitors, Moovijob.com will return to Centre Metz Congrès Robert Schuman on 22 May 2026.
Just a few kilometres from Luxembourg, Metz stands out as the ideal meeting point for French-speaking talent who may not yet have considered building a career in the Grand Duchy. For its second 100% Luxembourg-focused edition, the Moovijob Day will welcome around fifty companies from a wide range of sectors, including finance, IT, healthcare and construction. Visitors will have the opportunity to speak directly with recruiters and discover the many advantages of the Luxembourg job market, while a series of conferences will add further value to this unique day.
Luxembourg comes to Trier
Previous editions in Saarbrücken had already demonstrated Luxembourg’s appeal to German-speaking talent. However, the first edition in Trier, which brought together nearly sixty exhibitors and more than 3,000 visitors, far exceeded expectations. The second edition will take place on 19 June 2026 at Messepark Trier.
Located just a few dozen kilometres from Luxembourg, Trier is becoming a must-attend event for German-speaking and multilingual talent. Around fifty Luxembourg-based companies from a variety of sectors will meet several thousand visitors there, while free conferences on the Luxembourg job market will further enhance this exceptional day.
