After setting an attendance record at the Moovijob Day fair in late March with 18,113 visitors, the country’s leading job board is gearing up to accomplish another remarkable milestone in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg: organising 5 job fairs in 1 week. Following the Moovijob Day fairs and the Moovijob Night events, welcome to the Moovijob Week!
With 5,000 job listings and over 2,500 companies online, the job board Moovijob.com has established itself as a key player in the Luxembourg job market. Its events are equally popular. We still remember the 18,113 visitors welcomed on March 22nd at Luxexpo, making the Moovijob Day fair the most attended event in Luxembourg in a single day, across all sectors.
In addition to the large Moovijob Day fair, the Moovijob Night event, organised in a more intimate setting, has also found its stride since its launch in 2012 with a more selective focus. After the "Day" and "Night" concepts, the Luxembourg market will discover the Moovijob Week concept for the first time: 1 week – 5 fairs!

Our team has proven since 2011 its ability to make an impact and adapt to a constantly evolving job market."
The Moovijob Week concept will be quite different from other events, as each day will focus on a specific job sector aligned with the needs of the Luxembourg market:
- Monday, November 25th, will be dedicated to Health / Medical Care / Social Services
- Tuesday, November 26th, will focus on Sales / Hotels – Restaurants / Services
- Wednesday, November 27th, will cover Industry / Engineering / Transport / Construction
- Thursday, November 28th, will be all about IT
- Friday, November 29th, will focus on Finance.
A major poster campaign will accompany the launch of the Moovijob Week
Luxembourg companies quickly embraced this new model, with over 80 companies already confirming their participation. These specialised fairs will take place throughout the week at the European Convention Center Luxembourg (ECCL), adding an extra touch of excitement to this new concept.
"Indeed, it all started at the ECCL for Moovijob.com. Our first fair was held there in March 2011—hard to believe how time flies! 😊", smiles Yannick.
ECCL to host the 1st Moovijob Week over 5 days
A broad communication strategy will be launched in Luxembourg, as well as in France, Belgium, and Germany, to attract the candidates that participating companies are looking for. Each company has the option to participate in one or more days based on the profiles they are looking for.
"For example, if a healthcare organisation is recruiting IT professionals, they can choose to attend Monday for healthcare profiles and Thursday for IT profiles", explains Yannick.
In addition to recruitment and candidate acquisition, the Moovijob Week will also allow companies to promote their products and services. It’s an ideal opportunity for each company to represent its industry with pride!
While the Moovijob Week will be the last event of 2024, Moovijob.com has already finalised its 2025 schedule, which will emphasise local engagement:
- March 28th, 2025: Moovijob Day Luxembourg – Luxexpo
- May 23rd, 2025: Luxembourg fair in Trier – Messepark Trier
- June 27th, 2025: Luxembourg fair in Metz – surprise location
- September 26th, 2025: Unicareers fair – Luxexpo
- November 17–21, 2025: 5 specialised fairs during Moovijob Week – ECCL.
