About SECO Luxembourg

SECO Luxembourg is a recognized technical inspection office, specialized in verification, safety, and compliance for construction projects.
Our mission is to ensure the quality and safety of structures while supporting our clients in managing technical risks.
SECO also has a local branch in Luxembourg to provide tailor-made technical solutions, as well as a surveying division.


Main Mission

The Legal Counsel will strengthen the management and prevention of legal risks related to technical inspection activities and ensure the company’s legal compliance and governance.
We are looking for a pragmatic, proactive, and supportive professional.


Your Responsibilities

1. Legal Management for Construction Activities


  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with clients, partners, and suppliers.

  • Provide legal support on complex cases in collaboration with engineers and management.

  • Analyze and manage disputes related to construction projects (damages, liabilities, insurance, etc.).


2. Compliance and Governance


  • Ensure legal compliance for SECO Luxembourg’s various entities (RCS, statutory documents, legal obligations, banks, etc.).

  • Prepare and assist in organizing Board of Directors meetings.

  • Oversee internal procedures and compliance with local regulations.


3. Coordination and Cross-Functional Role


  • Act as the main legal point of contact for external stakeholders (clients, lawyers, insurers, authorities, etc.).

  • Work closely with the General Manager, HR Department, and operational teams.

  • Promote internal awareness of legal matters through training sessions, memos, and procedures.


Your Profile

  • Master’s degree in Law (preferably in Business Law and/or Construction Law).

  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar position or in a law firm, ideally within the construction or engineering sector.

  • Strong knowledge of Luxembourg law and contractual practices in the construction industry.

  • Excellent communication and analytical skills; pragmatic, solution-oriented, and entrepreneurial mindset.

  • Fluent in French and English (German or Luxembourgish would be an asset).
