IT Network Engineer

MyJobTalent is looking for an IT Network Engineer (M/F) on a permanent contract for one of our partners based in Luxembourg.

As an IT Network Engineer Consultant within the Network team, you will be in charge of:

• Providing technical expertise on network infrastructure and its various technologies for data centers, campus buildings and all connectivity services needed to support business solutions and service delivery. securely.

Job description :

• Implement, administer and maintain all network services
• Provide monitoring, backup and compliance across all network services
• Ensure network security and business continuity
• Manage service request, task and trouble ticket
• Provide level 1 and level 2 support on all services
• Seek continuous development and update on technology watch
• Participate in ITIL processes (incident, change, capacity, patch management, etc.)
• Participate in the design of IT knowledge bases, documentation and internal procedures
• Maintain a professional attitude and team spirit and develop interpersonal skills

Qualifications :

• 2 to 4 years of professional experience in the administration of computer networks.
• Good understanding and practice of network routing and switching, network security is an advantage. Cisco certifications are an asset (CCNA, CCNP, etc.)
• Basic understanding of Network Access Control solution (Cisco ISE)
• Good knowledge of network authentication protocols (Radius, TACACS).
• A basic understanding of firewall (Cisco FirePower or other vendors) and analytical behavioral security solutions (Cisco Stealthwatch) is an advantage.
• Willingness to grow in the administration of Next Generation Network Data Center infrastructure (Cisco ACI, NSX-T) and Campus Wired/Wireless infrastructure (Cisco SDA), if already knowledgeable is an advantage.
• A good understanding and practice of VoIP, monitoring solutions (Solarwinds, SIEM, Netflow solutions), scripting (Python, PowerShell) is nice to have.
• Knowledge of Windows client and server environment (Win10, Win2012-Win2019) and virtualized environment (VMware), Linux and Kubernetes is an advantage.
• Effective team spirit and ability to show initiative, autonomy and flexibility.
• Dynamic, rigorous, focused on business needs and able to work under pressure.
• Bring new ideas and contributions to help the evolution of infrastructure services of our client.
• Fluent English. Any other European language is considered an asset.
