The Institut National du Cancer (INC, www.inc.lu) is a non-profit association established on June 25, 2015. The INC’s mission is to contribute to the effective fight against cancer by ensuring that all cancer patients in Luxembourg have access to a structured and standardized clinical pathway, receive appropriate medical care, and help control healthcare costs in oncology. The INC currently plays a key role in implementing Luxembourg’s 2nd National Cancer Plan (2020-2026) and is actively involved in European initiatives that complement and strengthen these national efforts.
The INC is looking for a:
Project Administrative Assistant
Position description:
- Assisting the Project Manager team in coordinating and managing EU-funded oncology projects, ensuring alignment with project objectives, timelines and budgets
- Helping manage communication with key stakeholders, including European and national partners (e.g. clinical partners, research institutes, patient care organisations, Ministry/Directorate of Health,…)
- Assisting the Project Manager team in coordinating the activities at the national level through multidisciplinary teams, by handling administrative duties including scheduling meetings and maintaining project documentation up-to-date
- Supporting the preparation of project documentation, periodical reports, financial reports, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders, including EU funding bodies
- Assisting in monitoring project progress and managing budgets
- Contributing to the communication and dissemination activities related to the EU projects
Position requirements:
- Degree (Master, Bachelor, or similar) in a relevant field of expertise: e.g., life sciences, health, public health, social sciences
- Some experience (e.g. internship, student projects, entry-level positions) in project support or any other relevant area (e.g., biomedical, clinical, public health)
- Basic understanding of project management principles
- Knowledge of EU funding mechanisms and project lifecycle management is an asset
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team
- Very good command of English and French and/or German; knowledge of Luxembourgish is an asset
- MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) are mandatory
