Your role & work environment
Based in Luxembourg City, the business manager acts as a trusted advisor for the different members of the Exco and transformation team of ING Luxembourg. On a day-to-day basis, this also means prepare meetings and presentations; gather and report high quality information to drive informed decision making; actively propose and contribute to continuous improvements and act as a linking pin with various Exco members and their business units.
Main stakeholders are the different Exco members of ING Luxembourg and stakeholders within ING Group
Your key responsibilities
- Drive a variety of projects on the edge of strategy and execution;
- Perform and structure complex analyses and lead transversal projects with related Exco members
- Collaborate closely with Exco members to prepare presentations for internal and external communication purposes;
- Advise and support the Exco members in developing strategy and preparing plans to deliver on these priorities and follow-up on progress;
- Being a trusted provider of high quality information to drive informed decision making;
- Understanding and monitoring performance drivers and the ”pulse” of the business;
- Acting as a linking pin with various business units and executive stakeholders

As a Business Manager you will also need:
- Master’s degree with finance related background;
- At least 5 years of experience in consulting, experience in banking or consulting for banks is a strong asset;
- Demonstrated ability to effectively engage and interact with multiple senior stakeholders and Exco members;
- Sound experience in execution of strategic projects is a strong asset;
- Experience in preparing management information and presentations, with excellent Microsoft Office skills (Power Point and Excel)
- Can do mentality
- To work both independent and as a team member. You need to be able to manage your own work and set your own priorities;
- Strong analytical skills and execution capabilities;
- Ability to take responsibility, steer strategy and realisations based on facts and data;
- Strong resilience; ability to navigate through ambiguity and complexity;
- High level of confidentiality where needed
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills in English & French
