We are looking for a dynamic trainee to join the Compliance team, who possesses knowledge in both compliance (AML matters) and technology.
- Start date: ASAP
- Duration: From 10 to 12 months
- Employment rate: Full time or Part-time (80% - One day of school per week)
- Prerequisite : a tripartite internship agreement signed with your school
Your role
Support the compliance team members in their mission to ensure the compliance of the Luxembourg management company and its European branches with all applicable rules, with a strong focus on automating reporting processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Responsibilities
- Assist with administrative tasks related to the maintenance of registrations, meeting minutes, compliance log completion, signature lists, incoming mail, and organizational charts.
- Automate the preparation, enhancement, and delivery of reports, including AML Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), reports to the Group, and the Regulator, to streamline workflows and reduce manual effort.
- Perform second-level compliance checks (e.g., complaint handling, regulatory watch, AML pre-analysis).
- Collect data and prepare relevant exports for second-level compliance reviews (e.g., oversight of distributors, first line of defense AML, transfer agent).
- Prepare files for audits.
- Update the KIT (PAM intranet).
- Provide assistance to other members of the Pictet AM Europe Compliance team.
- Promote a positive compliance culture within Pictet AM Europe.
Your profile
Qualifications and experience:
- University degree in Law, Economics, or Finance.
- Legal background is a plus.
Specific knowledge:
- Knowledge of or strong interest in compliance and AML matters.
- Advanced skills in standard IT applications (MS Office) and reporting automation.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R for automation and data analysis.
- Experience with reporting and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Tech-savvy with a strong ability to leverage technology for compliance solutions.
Language skills:
- Fluent in English and French.
Personal qualities:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders.
