SENIOR Integration Architect

The Senior Integration Architect will have the opportunity to orchestrate the integration of software, applications and third-party solutions of the bank. As part of the IT department, specifically the Architect and Technology team, you will play an important role in Advanzia's digital transformation by implementing a robust integration platform that will support the growth and expansion of the bank.

ABOUT THE JOB | Your responsibilities
- Analyse the business strategy and propose adjustments to the IT application landscape to align with organizational goals
- Contribute to the architecture design process, collaborating with all key stakeholders
- Work closely with fellow architects to align data architecture with application architecture frameworks
- Design and oversee the implementation of integration solutions using industry-leading practices, balancing event-driven, process-driven, and data flow-based integration methods
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to fully understand integration needs and requirements
- Develop and maintain comprehensive integration architecture documentation
- Diagnose and resolve integration-related issues efficiently
- Keep abreast of the latest integration technologies, trends, and best practices
- Maintain a list of integration-related risks as part of the overall risk framework
- Participate in the Solution Architecture team to create designs that guide implementation teams
- Provide support to the Data Management team regarding application/data flows and associated models
ABOUT YOU | Your background, skills and personality
- University degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field
- At least 8 years of experience in architecture design and deployment, integration management, or software design, demonstrating the ability to manage complex systems and lead cross-functional teams
- Minimum 3 years in a role such as Enterprise Integration Architect or similar, with a proven track record of leadership and influence
- Deep expertise in integration frameworks and platforms, along with a solid understanding of event-driven and domain-driven architecture principles
- Proficiency in modelling architecture landscapes, using various tools and techniques to visualize and communicate complex systems effectively to all stakeholders
- Strong understanding of Enterprise Architecture frameworks such as TOGAF or similar, with practical experience in applying industry-standard models like BIAN in the banking sector
- Demonstrated assertiveness and leadership skills, with the ability to federate diverse teams, aligning them toward common goals and driving collaboration across functions
- Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in French, German or other languages is a plus
- Efficiency and simplicity: Ability to design and implement lean, agile processes to create simple and accessible solutions
- Transparency and communication: Clear and direct communication style with a commitment to engage openly and constructively, maintaining open channels and promoting information sharing with colleagues
- Hands-on approach: Willingness to roll up sleeves and get involved, demonstrating a down-to-earth attitude to get the job done
- Adaptability and flexibility: Comfortable working in a dynamic environment, navigating change effectively
- Ownership and accountability: A proactive approach in taking responsibility for tasks/outcomes, with a focus on seeing projects through to completion
- Results-oriented: Focus on delivering tangible outcomes within the budget and deadlines
- Cross-functional collaboration: Experience in working collaboratively across different teams and departments to foster agility and innovation
